The last time Ukraine was losing out to the ethnic-Russians in the east MH17 was shot down. Now that things have taken a turn for the worse for them once again and with the fall-out and sanctions on Russia over the incident not having the desired effect on the course of the conflict what happens next? There are few things I can think of that would be more dramatic than shooting down a civilian airliner to turn the tide of a war you are losing, but one such possibility was covered in a story I read a few months ago (link included below).
