    WOW & excellent stuff - thanks 9L.
I have not looked at SPX for some time - do my work on the futures contracts. So your figuring is very good. Think I'll put my feet up and just wait for you to report back .. lol

    On the S&P futures the 82 low was 101, the Oct 97 low was 844 so 743 point range. 844+743 = 1587 2007 top.
Just as an aside, from the 844 low on 28/10/1997,
    283 x 12.844 = 11/10/2007 ... go figure!

424 is a favourite of mine particularly on SPI. I got that from 161.8x2.618. Well Mars orbit is near enough to 687 days so 687x0.618 = 424.566 and of course Venus is close enough to 0.618 of Earth.

Procession of the equinox = 25920 years approx.
    25920 x 0.382 = 9901.44
    9/8/1982 to 20/10/2009 = 9934 days

My understanding of Armstrong's model is it's an economic cycle so not necessarily correlated to stock market turns.

Either way when one gets so many repetitive hits using the golden ratio, Fib ratios/sequences and some Gann methods there is more than enough for me to dig deeper.

Oh, one other humble thought - do I get to collect royalties??
    Cheers
