This should not be a solely Green concern. It should
concern all Australians. We have normal slaughter
rules but we make concession to barbaric practices
so as to not offend Muslims and Orthodox Jews
who together are causing all of the Middle East woes.
As a society we are giving other less tangible barbaric
practices the nod by accommodating Orthodox Jews and Muslims
in allowing innocent animals to suffer and struggle before we stun them.
We are supposed to be a secular humane society but we accommodate
barbaric practices in the name of multiculturalism.

Why not do the kit and caboodle and permit the harem.?
