if the australian government had any guts at all they would have called a referendum and asked the australian people to vote on OUR immigratition policy , allowing all australians to have their say , but alas , they are to gutless and already know what the outcome would be . might i also say that howard was elected in peace time and not war time , and as for his ass licking of bush and his commitment to send aussies off to die in another war which is being engineered by the u.s............this is another question for referendum. p.s. thanks for painting a target on the collective asses of all australians john....we aussies will be remembered in history as a war mongering nation , not peace loving one.
