    I do encourage the city-slickers to get out of their city bubble sometimes and go out into regional Australia. Trust me you will enjoy it - if you do it in an EV just take a generator with you because there are no charging points and the few that do exist will likely be taken up and you will have to queue. You might be able to do a round trip on one charge if you don't tow anything and stay on flat ground because you will really chew through the Kw when you go over the ranges or up big hills.

    The other option is to drive your EV to the last charging point and then hire a petrol or diesel vehicle to do the regional stuff and then come back to your fully charged EV to go home.

    Just add a bike rack to your EV.
