Do gay couples have equal rights here in South Australia?
Here are a couple of scenarios involving work colleagues I am aware of:
A female and her long term partner travel interstate to receive a sperm donation and conceive, so they are not breaking the law in SA. They are now raising their much adored toddler.
Two adult fathers decide to marry and travel to Canada for the ceremony. They are raising their children together in a loving family environment and have now changed their surnames to reflect their union of six years.
