That's all really nice. Ice cores do give us a very general picture of what may have happened in the past. A bit of a basis for us to develop theories on what might have happened once.
However, they leave huge gaps. Thousands of years type gaps for specific details.
As opposed to 2022 when we have a huge amount of recent data available that can be scrutinzed to the most minute detail. It is from that analysis that the experts have determined that it is very likely that a rapid increase in co2 emissions is having a significant effect on the climate.
