    There's so much oxygen in the air that it would be hard for humans to change it. We talk about 400ppm of CO2 - there are 200,000ppm of O2 in the air. Oxygen has nothing to do with the amount of CO2 in the air.

    The planes : CO2 thing sounds perfectly correct, though. Another correlation (because correlation is causation, I'm sure you know) is ice creams and hot days. Did you know that ice cream sales cause hot days? Just plot the two together and it's obvious.
