Avoid the first 30-60 mins, if the cavalry doesn't arrive. And you don't have to sell all at once, which is one way of averaging.
Otherwise, not sure what the best time to sell would be, much depends on the next anno. I'll be holding most my holdings even if a simple plug & abandon and won't give any away at silly prices if the anno has LT good news for PEP11.
If the cavalry does turn up with some great news, then the champers comes out again and one big Phew, or something like that.
