"You have no evidence. If you can provide some, or indeed evidence that it actually works in a biochemical sense on anyone, may I suggest that you:

    a) provide it for our benefit
    b) send it to James Randi and claim your US$ 1 million"

Here are some clinical trial results for the homeopathic immune system immodulator Canova. First developed by a doctor Canova in Argentina to help his mother fight off cancer. They ceased making it in Argintina and then a Brazilian company in Curatiba(home of Anderson Silva) started to make it.
The active ingredients are among other poisons, viper venome and arsenic. As has been described on this thread, just a few molecules of each, to where it would not be possible to prove it is in there.
It is given by drops sublingual. What happens then is the immune system senses a critical pathogen attack. This triggers an immune cascade attack from your own immune system against the non existent pathogen.
When this can be particularly valuable is for instance during a cancer treatment when a chemo is used but only having moderate effect. Cancer cells are your own cells and your immune system is not so good at differentiating between normal and cancer cells, but your immune system is very good at mounting an attack against pathogens.
If the immune cascade senses the cancer antigens from destroyed cancer cells then there is a chance the immune reaction will be directed against the cancer.
The Pharmas are working on boosters which work in a similar way. Merck have TLR9 antagonists which basically do the same thing. The TLR9 receptors on the dendretic cells(immune sysem traffic police) sense the fake pathogen(in this case an oligoneucleotide, an incomplete synthetic strand of bacteria DNA)and begin alerting the various killer T & B immune cells to the percieved threat.
The Canova people have made claims of efficacy against everything from cancer to aids.
I used to buy Canova at the chemists in Johannesburg international airport, but it has been pulled from sale there. A prescription is required from a homeopathic doctor in Brazil.
I dont know what the antisense technology described above will cost if it is approved, but Canova is about 20 bucks a bottle.
