If McCain & Obama have agreed on one thing is that the bill will pass in the House on the weekend! Bush has been running hot on the telephones to make sure it gets passed as well. the american people have a first hand experience of what happens if its not passed from Monday's massive crash.

I don't believe the House wants to paint itself as morally and financial bankrupt nor does it want to lose the election. if it doesn't pass the other party WILL definitely paint the opposing party as incompetent economic managers and that could sway the election.

first round last week was not past so that politicians can say we did what out constituancies wanted.

Second round will be passed because now they can say constituencies want it as well as wall street and the world.

note this is my summary. also note, Gold is down considerably and I believe Gold is priced factoring the bill being passed.
