Every consecutive thing Sinclair has said since 2001 is the most important thing. The guy's a nutter. Anyone who still worships at the temple of Sinclair is not much of a free thinker, IMO.

I was reading him at the beginning of the gold bull, when he used to yell in capitals and practice TA that was always right when gold was going up and always wrong when gold was going down. And back then when gold was sub $300 he was calling $1650 as the top - but it turns out that $1650 is a number of no significant milestone at all.

I've done well out of this gold bull run on and off over the years, and for a number of reasons I'm buying back in this week, but will be keeping stops tight. Had I been blindly following Sinclair I would have been badly off I expect, as I leverage with shares.

Really, no one is going to do themselves much good idolising permabull conspiracy theorists. There are more rational commentators following gold and global economic risks - Faber and Rogers for example.
