I haven't really lived anywhere else in my life, but I am amazed that what we have is supposedly in the top 3 in the world.
Public transport is an absolute joke, traffic is terrible and has gotten much worse in only the 8 years I have been on the roads, there are many slum like suburbs within 20km of the city you feel dirty just for driving through, we bash Indians (lol), it is freezing cold half the year and unbearably hot for a quarter of the year, it costs a fortune to put a roof over your head (renting or buying), there are only a handful of countries we can fly to in under 6 hours... I could go on.
Don't get me wrong, I love the place and realise we have it pretty good, but it is a little disheartening to know there isn't much better out there! I'd hate to be living anywhere outside of the top ten by the sounds...
