Re "u attempt herd immunity, kill a truckload of your fellow citizens"
Sweden lost 2.5 (2.3) more people in every 10,000 of their population in 2020 when compared with 2018 (2014). They lost 16 LESS people in every 10,000 of their population in 2020 when compared with 1993. The flu was really bad in 1993, so perhaps a comparison with our recent pandemic would be unfair?
Anyway Britain, complete with it's brutal lockdowns, lost 11 more people in every 10,000 of their population in 2020 when compared with 2018.
@Orson, imagine living through a "pandemic" in one year and finding, in a comparison with the most recent years, that you'd lost, at worst, just over 2 people more in every 10,000 AND, further, that you'd emerged with less deaths than a different country which locked down its citizens for months on end and devastated its local economy.
Would you think it strange that, with your citizens reasonably unaffected, it was still YOUR country being blasted, or would your dumb lefty braincells still find something to b1tch about?
