Yes thats correct. In Aust it is fixed rent plus turnover rent but in the US it's just fixed rent.
However, if stores are doing well in the US, this will help stabilise occupancy numbers in those centres and may encourage new entrants to fill vacant spaces in centres that are experiencing high foot traffic.
Whilst directly it may not impact CER's bottom line, indirectly it will.
Higher retail sales is the name of the game. This is what we want.
