i think we will have to have sustained POG over $1000oz or pretty close to it for goldies to get a free run so to speak, market volatility, margin lending still really weighing down on all stocks especially species and juniors.

xerxes is correct in that the percieved safe haven hasn't happened yet and the blue chip ASX200 stuff is a safer bet to date however i think there are a few near term producers or goldies with great fundamentals that will shine in the coming year.

there are a swag of them but my selection across the spread, these are all at various stages of development: AXM (producer late this year)
NGF (producing now)
KAL (explorer)

big year for all three companies.
