Of course you can bottletop. The IPCC is getting away with it because their so called peer reviews are all their mates and all use the same data sets and computer models so therefore all come to the same conclusion.
So if that data set and/or computer model is wrong then they are all wrong and peer reviewing means nothing.
I think there are serious doubts about some of the data being included and their computer models are too simplistic to accurately model climate or to make any meaningful predictions from. Certainly so far there is nothing happening in the real world which matches what their computer models say should be happening.
