About Mr Lally Mr Lally is a former Olympian, representing Ireland in cycling at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Mr Lally has over 35 years of business experience, having started his career as an actuary at AMP before he joined Commonwealth Bank as head of retail financial services. Mr Lally worked in Japan for six (6) years, first in Deutsche Bank's retail asset management business, then as a partner of global accounting firm Deloitte, setting up its Japanese actuarial business. Mr Lally was CEO at Sunsuper, which he joined in 2007 and during his 6 years he led the entity through a period of transformation, more than doubling funds under management during his tenure. Sunsuper is one of Australia's biggest industry funds. Most recently Mr Lally accepted the role of chair of the Equity Trustees Superannuation Limited Board. Equity Trustees is Australia’s leading specialist trustee company and operates The Executive Superannuation Fund. With decades of significant business leadership, experience in Australia and internationally, Mr Lally has the skills and expertise to help the Company’s business grow and develop and the Company is very fortunate to have him agree to join the Board. Mr Lally is currently the Chairman of ASX listed Self Wealth Limited. Mr Lally will chair the Company’s Audit and Risk Management Committee
