Aurelia stated in their last quarterly that they had taken advantage of the gold price being over A$1700 and had forward sales of 67,000 oz as at the 22 Oct at a price of A$1735. This was presumably after selling into their book from the 1st Oct to the 22nd Oct. As the gold price stayed over A$1700 for the rest of October it would be interesting to get an update on their current position if someone could ask the question at the AGM. If they have been able to push the forward book up to around 80.000 oz, as of late Nov, we will be covered for the rest of the year at a price north of A$1700. Would obviously be very good for earnings.
