Albo cannot appoint the GG, the GG's legal powers exceed those of the PM of Australia.

The PM of Australia only recommend the GG, the only person with legal powers to appoint the GG is the King of UK based on the PM recommendation.

Most likely Charles will just rubber stamp it as it has always been done in the past. They're too busy hunting than caring about politics.
