MOT offers exposure to higher yielding corporate loans that retail investors can’t access. This is a high risk fund with greater expected volatility and possible loss compared to MXT. The fund also invests in more complex securities that can be contractually subordinated or in holding companies that do not hold the company’s physical assets, so structurally subordinated.
