This is giving me a headache....why would you think I'm referring to you and when did age come into it, I'm not young.

There have been many comments about this and that in Bali when it's the result of tourist yobbos.

I'm saying travelling is not hanging out with tourist yobbos, taking tours and paying for high priced hotels. Comforts are air conditioning and toilets, not gold plated tv cabinets.

Plenty of young travellers do that garbage, Contiki, Club Med.....Why bother??

Try and experience a bit of what it's like to live in the country, there is much to see when not advised by tour operators.

People go on coach tours get herded around like sheep get told how much time they can spend in one place if any, eat the same food as home and talk to other tour members from home.

Didn't think it would be so difficult to explain.

Whenever I go to Thailand, which is at least once a year now, I buy a flight....that's it. I turn up find a place to stay and go from there.
