Disco Stu, a group of Japanese on a tour can learn a lot and gain an appreciation of our culture.

I'm sure an organised tour including trips to the Great Barrier Reef, some beach time on the Goldie and Byron, trip to the Alice and Uluru including a number of indigenous museum stops and leave from Sydney would give them a great insight into our culture.

This could easily be a 20 day trip offering them plenty of beach time, hanging out at cafes, the odd stop of at a nice pub for a steak, a day at dreamworld where they can pat Kangaroos and hold a koala and maybe a stop off at a sheep station in a remote part of NT near Uluru to meet some outback Australians.

I am sure they would get a fair idea and appreciation of our culture in 20 days. They don't necessarily have to backpack to the back of bourke to view Kangaroos in the wild when they can just pat them at dreamworld. They don't need to waste time travelling to a remote aboriginal mission when they can visit museums and Uluru.

In 20 days, they can easily get the gist and they can stay in nice hotels and fly between places to do it.
