Hee Hee Miles you cheeky boy, thought you'd slip that one past the keeper did you?

"is in dollar terms not that different from moving from a low 6.5% to a normal range of near 10% on and average $350k mortgage"

errr yes but what were people earning and what are they earning now?

I don't think any one here is going to change their minds or anyone else's. Aurelius, Miles and some others clearly will not invest in real estate and some won't even buy a home for themselves being content to rent.

    Good Luck guys.

Me and the others are intent on taking what looks like an opportune time and buying in. That opportune time for me extends well into late 2009, not just next week.

I think the b-dust that goes on (on both sides) must wear us all down and to what end?

Father Time will settle this ie what will happen between now and 2012 but I suspect the next argument will be what will happen beyond that time.

I've asked this before and not got an answer. Miles, you have made these same predictions over many years and have always been wrong before, does that count for nothing? Doesn't your past staunchness and time-proven wrongness not make you just a tad uncertain this time around?

    Not even a little bit?
