The whole geopolitical zone surrounding the Putin-Khamenei Axis is masked by Realpolitik.
Assets of Western companies that have exited Russia were indeed seized and handed over to Putin's psycohphants. The US decision to seize Russian assets and hand them to Ukraine is just tid for tat I suppose.
China wants to both have its cake and and eat it ATM.
Thus China will likely continue to voice support for Putin while limiting the actual support provided. My expectation is that China will look beyond the current gaggle of world leaders (including Putin) in deciding where its " interests " lie.
