Well the fin report is out and, perhaps unsurprisingly, Neuren have decided to dump Motiva from their activities. Given the increasing focus on 2566/2591, this is unsurprising.
The announcement makes a brief referenc to Perseis, but it's impossible to gauge from the sentence whether (a) things are going with Perseis, it's just not core business anymore so they want to get rid of it and make some money out of it or (b) things aren't going well with Perseis and they want to get rid of it before they lose any more money on it.
But I think it's pretty clear that Perseis is no longer core business and I would expect it to get offloaded in some form or another.
Also clear in the ann is that we should expect results in 2H2014, so even though the trial may finish on or before June 30, we are unlikely to hear anything before then. I don't think this is any surprise. Also remember that in the progress ann in January, Neuren said that they weren't aiming to get orphan designation for Rett until after the Phase II results were out.
