No. Look is NOT for sale!!

CEO Dave Hills had said in at least two CC's, that Looksmart are NOT FOR SALE. But also mentioned that this wouldn't stop the possibility of someone buying an interest in Looksmart, or, words to that effect. The NEWSCORP possiblity has been fired by Rupert Murdoch's statement sometime back, that NWS "were" looking at a "controlling stake" in a search engine, and John BATELLE'S (Internet stock guru) statement that .... "It's LOOKSMART"!! - (Strangely, it was withdrawn, the next day??)

Looksmart's new model, that make them 'virtual' gatekeepers of article content on the web, (plus Furl) really do become a complimentary to Newscorps "push" towards being the No1 player, on the net. And that, I do have absolutely no doubt about as happening, whatsoever.
