Not really. Masimo is a stand alone company. They have the best SPO2 technology in the world for patient monitoring. As a result, many companies including Philips(Previously HP/Agilent), GE, Drager, Welch Allyn, etc, all use "Masimo" as an alternative to Nellcor.
