If the conflict broke out, it will be a quick fix which US has to whip Iran for being naughty and bad behavior. My assessment is nothing will happen because Iran knew US is not a force to be reckoned with. Iran just copy Kim jong un to gain some ground. Just wait to see whether US will brink with Iran like NK. From time to time there're a few regimes being very naughty and badly behaved with US like naughty kids put pressure on their parent for money or more toys oops!
