Today (3rd December 2024) China announced a ban on shipments to the US of duel-use minerals including germanium and gallium, where China produces 98 % of the world supply of gallium and 60 % of gallium. These are critical materials used in the production of military applications, cell technology, night vision ....
And little MTB with a tiny market cap on the ASX has discovered a great germanium and gallium resource in Botswana. I wonder if there will be a takeover bid for them? It would be a highly strategic purchase an extremely low price. I think the market cap is $ 1.2 million and they have $ 2 billion of resources in the ground.
Its looking good for MTB, in the right place at the right time!
