mount carbine potential revenue

This is in response to one of Touching Cloths questions about annual production. Mcrae and he seem to be almost symbiotic, so MC can read this too.

Mount Carbine open pit had 670000 tons of mineralization remaining at closure:

    Working on a grade of 0.3% (3kg of WO3 per ton) We multiply 670000 by 3 = 201000 kg of WO3
Divide this by 10 to give a rough MTU = 201000mtu
On a value of approx $250 per mtu = $50,250,000

How long would that take to process? Not too long I suggust - can anyone tell me?

THEN there is the underground 7M tonnes

    Using the same Math:

    7000000 by 3 = 21000000 kg WO3
Divide this by 10 to get MTU = 2,100,000 mtu

    @ $250 mtu = $525,000,000

Giving total value of indicated ore reserves of $575.25 Million

Oh, and of course I forgot the No4 Dump. Grades yet to be seen, but odds are they will be good enough to treat.

Would it take 5 years to mine the reserves suggested above? More? Less?

    5 years = over 100 million a year..mmm

And, of course, we now know that the mineralization appears to extend significantly beneath the pit. How far? What grades?

Don't know - but I suggest JK and his Geo's are excited about the drill core!

    Any thoughts or corrections welcome

    Cheers
