macrae you are right... VML's grade at 0.25 does not cut it... but i think you will find that early next year they will come up with a higher grade resource of around 10m tonnes at 0.4-0.5% which will form their initial pit.... VML were hoping that this was going to come out in their initial resource but RSG wouldnt allow it hence the lower grade (but more tonnes)... RSG insisted that VML infill drill on 8m spacings inorder to prove up this resource.
expect an off take annoucement to come out soon too... my tip is VML's concentrate will be heading to europe and not china.
