Amanda has referred to local Malaysian-based customers that include some who can turn oxides into metals and alloys; actors who must be working at the behest of the Japanese.
Logic demands that Japan develop ALL necessary resources and skills from mines to metals to magnets whether they do it themselves or develop the needed talents elsewhere ex-China, as with their geologists at Mt Weld. Shin Etsu is developing their magnetmaking skills in Vietnam.
