Many of us invested in LYC for pennies and have lived every CR and JARE capital lifeline.

I try not to read too much of the HC posts as amongst the cacophony of noise, the company has been a 20 bagger by simply letting it do its job.

AL was the right person at the right time to lead the business. Few posters here would earn the right to buckle her shoes.

As a simple non engineer/non chemist investor, l have held a 10 year view on the decoupling of China commodity reliance, backing a number of green energy metals from embryonic stage developers.

Prices of commodities over that time have been manipulated both up and down and many juniors have imploded whilst others are now household names.

I can only suggest novice investors looking for another quick 5 bags from LYC or any other green energy miner lower their expectations. This is a very crowded space and penny dreadfuls are already 60c to 80c.

On the other hand, if you can think 5 to 10 years out and have the stomach for 30% to 40% price swings, just buy a broad portfolio of diverse metal producers and don't get caught up in the online hype.

Once you get your capital back sell and let the profit ride for how ever many years you can.

No HC poster to my mind has any secret sauce on any stock. The elusive value of a forum is to help those who can use it correctly to develop successful strategies to make money and then keep growing it.

l am not giving advice here, l am just documenting my observations over a long time of investing. If you are in the right industry sector, stay in it as it can be very profitable. If you have made an error in stock or industry, either get out or have a plan to minimise losses until the cycle turns.

There are very few shortcuts to wealth accumulation and luck does play a part. Industry, management and time are key drivers.

l have read all the pros and cons on this thread and now admit to a little confusion, which l am happy to call "noise" so l will ignore it all and enjoy whatever path LYC takes my capital oh be the next 5 years plus.

l believe in REE and global independence from China. I believe in AL. I am patient.

    Each to their own.
