The problem is as long as companies can earn a profit margin on selling something, they will sell as much of it as they possibly can. This is where you need governments to step in and address these types of externalities. It is like someone using a huge 4wd when they live in the city, I mean sure you can guzzle all that fuel to pick up your groceries everyday, no one is going to stop you.

I think that's a big problem with our current economic system that will be really hard to address. People like the freedom of doing and buying whatever they wish. To say some central body gets to determine the allocation of goods starts to look a lot like communism. That's why I commend everyone backing Redflow and similar companies that can make our world a better place. It takes people who see a problem for things to change.
