Is there any reason you suggest horizontal when there is plenty thick vertical pay zone?. Don’t you like the idea of a pressure gradient?

I wouldn’t have thought it matters - pressure goes up with depth but good chance the whole vert play is in communication and therefore wouldn’t this mean all open to contribute to production flow into the well bore?

A 500 metre production zone around a vertical well or a 500 metre production zone over a 2 - 3klm horizontal well. Hmmm.

I prefer the ability to tap an increased production zone and will trade increased depth and increased pressure 1960 mMD for increased capture.
