Yep - and you can "frame it any way you like" - the US is the most indebted country in the world, and in times of desperation, resorts to drilling wells and building bridges (which don't really stand up to the Singaporean-Cargo-Ship test too well). The "rotational" nature of the FOMC membership is hardly a yardstick for success, with the US constantly plagued by bank failures that can be linked to poor central bank policy (for example, SVB failure can be directly linked to their liquidity reforms which forced regional banks to create massive duration gaps between deposits and HQLA, whereas other central banks in more progressive jurisdictions were early adopters of Basel NSFR reforms whcih ensured that duration gaps were measured and balanced). The US adopts a punitive approach to regulation which means that hindsight will always be relied on over foresight. Vastly different to far-more-progressive (yet cautious) Asian CB approach, which is why the sun is setting on the American Empire in favour of the economic powerhouses of the East. The capital tide has turned (in favour of China et al), and America needs to adapt to that, not argue about it. Four year terms that include radical policies from an aging Oompa Loompa will never end well for the average American. Did someone say Project 2025?

As for MAY - You don't hold, never have, and never will. I am guessing you are simply here to stir the pot (after chasing the likes of Flam and S78 over here). Silly "It may be all about the API" calls (with zero context) add zero value. Sure - Its about the API, the flow rates, the lead times, the cost, sale contracts, financing, etc etc etc - But to simply keep stating "It may be all about the API" adds zero value. Waste of space and time. But, as they say, "You do you" if that's what floats your boat. Cuba needs oil, and the API coming out of Block 9 will help fill the gap. To imply that the oil in Block 9 is somehow not commercial shows a complete lack of underdstanding of the current situation in Cuba.
