Great find Omega.
Since the general meeting, I took MATD (Petro Matad Ltd) off my watch screen. The reason I did that was because I specifically asked Brian Mcmaster what they were like and whether or not they were any kind of competition to us. I won't go into too many details here but he dissed them a fair bit and left us all thinking that WOF was really the only game in town.
My thought process from then on was that they should have us on their watch screen and be using our progress and us as a catalyst for them and not the other way round.
How's today's news for irony.
If BG have given this region the big tick by way of a $28 million dollar handshake and Petro Matad's acreage is crap compared to ours, doesn't it make you wonder who the Chinese guys are that our management is in talks with and just how big they could be. Imagine for a second too, the 'hard ball' that these Chinese guys were playing up until today's news.
If they dick around any longer, Bataa might just up the terms after BG's massive show of faith today.
I believe all discussions will now be turbo fast tracked and my only feeling of resentment is to that bloody poster A Wolf. Grrrrr. How lucky was that guy. He said he was going to buy in today....yes today!!!
Only joking friend. Good luck to you.
Finally, to give you an idea of just how big this is, Petro Matad in London usually has bugger all volume. Today there have been 7.7 million shares traded and the price initially doubled.
Expect this excellent 'nearology' to have an extremely positive effect on WOF tomorrow and give our badly beaten share price the injection it deserves.
