Mrmustard, yes i have seen that explanation. However, again a spread of investors must show genuine interest in the new company and in the past the ASX has generally only granted waivers where the new company conducts an IPO or creates a spread separate to the shares offered free or in specie. Its a common waiver as i have found but the new company must comply with the conditions or there is no listing. I hate to say it but this is a very big issue imo.
On a totally different matter and i may have missed it, but which company conducted the independent valuation? Has that been released?
