What's with this 'new CEO' obsession? The board just got rid of Dr K, they are going to appoint someone who is will steer the ship in the direction they want. The only direction will be that set by the board.
It's not like the board and the acting CEO don't have the ability and experience to engage groups to do the clinical trials. Whoever is the new CEO will not be in the clinic performing the trials. Not even Dr K would be doing that, he was a freakin vet in the first place and not qualified to oversee the patients or perform the trials themselves.
