movie !!, page-8

Just one question,

the movie shows that the technique used in drilling down the grounds is called "hydraulic fracturing". Ok some folks here said that this has nothing to do with UCG.

Then what is the technique used to drill those holes underground? just old fashion drills?

I can understand the vertical drill straight down. But what about the horizon drill? Coz as far as i m aware, once u drill vertically down you need to drill across?

Can someone clear this up? mucho appreciato
