Moving averages, like everything else are just a guide. They are not the be all and end all of trading.
I have made good money by purchasing shares which had moved below certain moving averages, because I ignored the moving averages and did hours of reasearch and analysis.
Like in all forms of life, people are looking for the easy ways to make money without doing the hard work. Using moving averages is not the answer.
