friend of mine does the same thing in betting markets.
Stacks the opposite side of what he wants.
ie stacks sell when he wants to buy and vice versa.
It works well in certain markets/securities especially if you can pick the prevailing "mood" and you want to do the opposite e.g. scepticism in NWE and you want to accumulate.
