With respect to graphite processing plants for batteries; Recently China built 3 new mega factories, and Japan & South Korea built one each. Many others are being built in China and USA or in planning stage.
Not sure what Capraise is trying to deduce, but there is a broad uptake in battery production and graphite demand globally. No one, including China, expects graphite processing to be dominated by China in the long term.
However, China and several asian countries have proven to be the leaders in the most cost effective & advanced battery production. This was said by German car makets last year & they would rather work in a JV with Asian battery manufacturers, especially until a move to solid state batteries could offer other competitive opportunities.
USA and many other countries are looking at energy security & domestic graphite availability is on the list. Good to see what happens in next 3 years as graphite demand globally for Batteries & EV market move up.
