Why are JHT here ? China want strategic supply. And you are not going to get that in other countries FIRB, or political risk, or with deposits that are small flake dominant.

Do you think that JHT a building materials company, etc, chose to invest in, and facilitate TON finance because they have a need to get their hands onto the high purity, and scale which TON has ?

Cappy thinks graphite is a dead duck, and therefore paints all with the same tarnished brush.
Thereby has no capacity mentally to distinguish the merits and motivations of projects and their cornerstone investors.

Who knows more about the graphite industry, especially large flake specialist projects ? A multi billion dollar state owned company like JHT ? Or cappy ? Well JHT have put their money where their mouths are, and we speculate that in that wind, comes finance.

Steve, let me tell you why the Chinese govt through Jinan and previously shandong and prior to that minjar are in ton. One simple reason. To block extra supply of graphite coming into china, and when the time comes and they need outside graphite they have a ready made project and can press go. You my friend need to be really patient, could take years or decades. Govts don't care amount making money, only securing future assets.
