I decided to fire an email to Nir a few days back. It's been quite the wait and obviously a number of POC's on the go with Halo 1.1 ready.
He emailed me an hour later offering to chat on Zoom face-to-face and just got off the call..commentary below.
* Halo is a modular system - it can be offered as 2 sims, 4 sims, 20 sims etc. There are 4 different versions. It also can come with a ruggedised hardcase for Industrial IOT.
* System was ready in July but after testing, there was a gap meaning it needed more features. The result is a high performance unit. 90 units have gone out to a long line of customers, big and well known.
*The company are very excited and end product better than what they expected.
* 3 main verticals - HLS / Industrial IOT (electric companies, water companies, Oil and Gas companies) / Unmanned Companies (Drones)
*ADAS will be a slow burn
*Drone market next 2 yrs will be 200B
* Drones require more than one sim for BVLOS - Elsight is the only solution
