Bear,
Fingers crossed China comes off. However in the mean time CXY and the shareholders need strong people like your self to support and represent them in the public forum.
Sure QLD could be dead and buried, but don't you feel ripped off that cxy was not even given the chance to complete the trial burn that they were given approvals to do by DERM in the first place. DERM used a feeble excuse such as a ground water contamination techicality to cease the burn. One can only speculate that political pressure on Dorothy Pratt by the labor govt and the Kingaroy farmers, not to mention other forces was one of the reasons for the shut down.
You have to ask why weren't CXY given a chance to prove this technology. It was the 2nd most advanced UCG plants in the world. What a great honour for the smart state to have this kind of technology so advanced in QLD.
After the shafting CXY has received from journo's like Sam Burgess and the false comments farmer Damian O'Sullivan can get away with, don't you think us posters have some energy to balance the argument?
The Action Group is here to help concerned shareholders focus this energy in a positive direction and add weight to our arguments and questions.
At the end of the day, we all want the truth! If the GOVT doesn't want UCG in Kingaroy. Fair enough, just say no at the beginning before cxy invests $20m. But don't be spineless and give into public pressure at the very climax of the trial, to the detriment of the following: a great company who has invested $20,000,000 into a plant, jobs in kingaroy, small business in kingaroy, qld's power industry, qld's environment, and qld's reputation. We could have spent $20m in china or india or pakistan. In a country that has real leadership from politicians, and vision for the future.
