you are missing the point completely,

lower moisture---->high burn temperature---->higher temperature not designed for burners in the valley.

vortex has nothing to do with it, we are not interested in the paths taken by burnt coal. but the temperature generated when its burnt is important because we are talking about a 1960s design power plant.

further the water savings are completely overblown, show me any power station in the valley that supports this contention?
unless you fancy sulfur in your water, nice way to corrode the piping....

you are wrong about the downtime, show me any proof, that this will be the case, no way, its not possible. call up loy yang yourself.
