I think the BBG need to stop any rumour mill with clarification.
At least now the mgt can breath that no PE will approach them and gives them a good chance to concentrate on their strategy.
For TPG, no potential prey will allow due diligence like BBG. They will see heavy resistance from potential preys as they can quote what they did to BBG.
