No. There is no other competitor. But Wescoal looks like another good coal operator on a PE of only 3.

Clearly digging coal in SA is good business as
a. Eskom buys most of the output
b. SA needs more rather than less electricity
c. Coal is still the cheapest, secure in situ energy source
d. Capital in SA is high cost
meh, sell or hold, it's still a good activity digging coal in SA
